Creative Reuse for Teachers (NYCATA/UFT Workshop)

This is a creative, hands-on workshop incorporating wonderful, colorful, tactile materials. Participants will learn how to construct a work of art with recycled materials and to incorporate differentiated instruction, problem-solving and synthesis through the making of art projects. They will have the opportunity to create and critique projects and reflect on what they have learned. Participants will leave with both materials and knowledge of how to inspire students to think about how to use these materials to invent their never-before-dream-of products or to enhance those already in progress.

Price: Workshop Only – $15.00 • Teachers: 2 CTLE hours – $30.00 • Paraprofessionals: 2 CTLE hours – $15.00
