Feline Fun with Cats of Meow York and Pet Portraits by Omar Olivera

Join us for an evening of kitty cuddles featuring adult cats from Cats of Meow York (COMY). Dedicated to reducing NYC’s stray cat population, COMY will inform attendees on its work and the importance of adoption and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). For the event, guests will have the opportunity to make cat shelters for COMY cat colonies, interact with friendly adult adoptable cats, and talk to COMY members about how to get involved.

Additionally, MFTA welcomes attendees to bring a photograph of their furry friends for artist and educator Omar Olivera, who will draw a select number of pet portraits. MFTA Education Director John Kaiser will lead participants through a tutorial to learn how to create pet portraits themselves.
