Gallery Exhibit Opening: “The Artists of Materials for the Arts”

MFTA invites you to celebrate our newest gallery exhibit, The Artists of Materials for the Arts. This exhibit showcases artwork created by MFTA staff and teaching artists. MFTA inspires NYC to discover the creative potential in commonly found objects, and this exhibit is our way of showing our commitment to creative reuse. Come join us to celebrate the many ways ordinary materials can be transformed into art.
Exhibition artists include Julia Clauss, Edyta Halon, Virginia Hoffman, Annalisa Iadicicco, Pamela Isaac, John Cloud Kaiser, Skip LaPlante, David Marini, Louie Miranda, Omar Olivera, Avani Patel, Joy Suarez, Jairo Toro, and Roberto Visani. Enjoy musical performances by John Cloud Kaiser, Louie Miranda, Omar Olivera, and Jose Rosa.
About MFTA Third Thursday events:
Every third Thursday of the month MFTA holds public programming—from craft making, to artist talks, performances, and gallery openings.
